Busy day at the Capitol today…

It's a super-busy day at the Idaho Capitol today. This morning, the House State Affairs Committee will hold its hearing and vote on the Senate-passed bill to eliminate so-called "instant racing." The House Education Committee meets at 8:30 and holds the fate of the teacher-pay career ladder bill, a day before JFAC is scheduled to set the public school budget. JFAC, the joint  budget committee, is setting budgets for the state Corrections Department and the Catastrophic Health Care Fund. And there's more.
