Lawmakers leery of Otter Admin’s answers on IEN
Here’s a link to my full story at spokesman.com on today’s stormy budget hearing on the Idaho Education Network, at which leery lawmakers grilled Otter Administration officials about how they plan to resolve the legal and financial mess surrounding the IEN, the statewide broadband network linking Idaho high schools, and didn’t like the answers they got.
Meanwhile, Idaho EdNews reporter Kevin Richert has obtained a copy of the letter from Century Link to Education Networks of America threatening to cut off the IEN service; you can see it here; Richert obtained it through request under the Idaho Public Records Law. His full report is online here.
