BSU Repubs chair: ‘A conservative reform agenda’

Ann Michelle Ciampini, chair of the BSU College Republicans, was the first to take the podium at today’s “Stand With Rand” rally, introducing a video of Rand Paul’s wife, Kelly Ashby Paul, talking about how she met him and who he is. She said Rand was close with his grandmother, and “He became her eyes. … Rand never forgot how sad it was to watch his grandmother lose her vision.” That helped cement his desire to become an opthamologist, she said.

She said being a physician gives Paul a “unique perspective” in Washington, “Simply  because he’s trained to diagnose a problem, and find a solution.”

Ciampini introduced Idaho Congressman Raul Labrador, and said, “Along with Sen. Paul, he is fighting to bring a conservative reform agenda to Washington.”
