House to suspend rules, take up House bills on 2nd reading calendar…

House Majority Leader Mike Moyle has announced that today, the House will consider just the first bill on its 3rd Reading Calendar, then begin suspending its rules and taking up the House bills on the 2nd Reading Calendar. That would include several appropriations bills, and Rep. Janice McGeachin's measure to restore some of last year's Medicaid cuts. The joint budget committee is scheduled to set the Medicaid budget tomorrow morning.
