State: Execution will be Tues. as scheduled, with the court-required access changes in place

The Idaho Department of Corrections has announced that the execution of Richard Leavitt will go forward as scheduled on Tuesday, with full witness access as required tonight by the 9th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals. Jeff Ray, department spokesman, said, "We'll take the necessary measures to ensure that the execution continues as scheduled. We're still looking it over and figuring out the specifics, but we will do what the court says we need to do, and the execution will continue on Tuesday."
