Achievements

The following area students have been named to the spring dean’s list at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, requiring a minimum GPA of 3.5 and a minimum of 12 credit hours: Markell Agee of Deer Park, Jonah Foo of Colbert, Andrew Steinhart and Maxwell Sadler, both of Spokane.

Maria Jaiyeola, of Pullman, has been named to the spring dean’s list at the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega, Georgia, requiring a minimum GPA of 3.5 and at least 12 credit hours.

Joshua McCulloch, of Spokane Valley, has been named to the spring dean’s list at Trine University in Angola, Indiana, requiring a minimum GPA of 3.5 and at least 12 credit hours.

Graham Rocha, of Spokane, has been named to the spring dean’s list at Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tennessee, requiring a minimum GPA of 3.5.

Sophia Wheatfall, of Spangle, has been named to the spring dean’s list at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York, requiring a minimum GPA of 3.5.

Stephanie Hyta, of Spokane, has been named to the spring dean’s list at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana, requiring a minimum GPA of 3.5.

Sara Doyle, of Spokane, has been named to the spring dean’s list at the American International College in Springfield, Massachusetts, requiring a minimum GPA of 3.3.

Garrett Casey and Sierra Sohn, both of Spokane, have been named to the president’s list at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, requiring a minimum GPA of 4.0 and at least 12 credit hours.

Katelyn Strauss, of Spokane Valley, has been named to the president’s honor list at the North Dakota State College of Science, in Wahpeton, North Dakota, requiring a minimum GPA of 3.5 and at least 12 credit hours.

Rebekah Cashen, of Newman Lake, graduated from Central College in Pella, Iowa in the college’s May commencement with a bachelor’s in Spanish receiving the Julia Van Houweling academic award.

Katherine Johnson, of Pullman, has been named to the spring dean’s list at Springfield College in Springfield, Massachusetts, requiring a minimum GPA of 3.5 and at least 12 credit hours.

Makena Dashiell, of Spokane, has been named to the spring president’s list at Mississippi College in Clinton, Mississippi, requiring a minimum GPA of 4.0 and at least 12 credit hours.

Abigale Renner, of Spokane, has been named to the chancellor’s list at Troy University in Troy, Alabama, requiring a minimum GPA of 4.0 and at least 12 credit hours.

Tyson Lim, of Deer Park, has been named to the spring dean’s list at Utah Tech University in St. George, Utah, requiring a minimum GPA of 3.5 and at least 12 credit hours.

The following area students have been named to the spring dean’s list at Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio, requiring a minimum GPA of 3.75 and at least 12 credit hours: Emilie Colvin, of Edwall, and Estella Tasche, of Spokane.

The following area students have been named to the winter president’s list at Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester, New Hampshire, requiring a minimum GPA of 3.7 and at least 12 credit hours: Ally Hartman, of Cheney; Aaron Kemper, of Veradale; Jennifer Walker, Shannon Garcia, Jacob Whetham, Jesse Owens, Amanda Schafer, Jennifer Opatz, Apryl Winters, Gagan Douglas, Joseph Golan, Patricia Kuhn, Bryan Watson, May Deitrick and Addison Hawley, of Spokane; Brooke Martinek, Rachel Canright and Alyssa Munch,of Spokane Valley; Eric Adler and Bryan Kirk, of Fairchild Air Force Base; and Stephanie Kemper of Deer Park.

The following area students have been named to the winter dean’s list at Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester, New Hampshire, requiring a minimum GPA of 3.5 and at least 12 credit hours: Christina Borja of Airway Heights; Slade Martin, Sierra Felts, Manuel Dan and Alivia Buckner, all of Spokane.

The following area students have been named to the president’s list at Utah Tech University in St. George, Utah, requiring a minimum GPA of 3.9 and at least 15 credit hours: Gavin Wolcott of Spokane Valley and Paula Lozano of Spokane.

Sivasubramanian Chithan of Spokane graduated from Trine University in Angola, Indiana, in the college’s spring commencement, Chithan earned a Master of science degree in information studies.

Kaden Perala of Spokane Valley graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in Lincoln, Nebraska in the college’s May commencement, Perala earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering.
