Dispute between neighbors leads to shooting with one dead, one critically injured in north Spokane
Major crimes detectives are investigating a shooting in north Spokane that left one dead and another person with life-threatening injuries.
Spokane County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call about the shooting, which reportedly started as a dispute between neighbors at East Bigelow Gulch Road between North Jensen Road and East Weile Avenue, said Mark Gregory, spokesman for the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office.
The shooting happened at about 6:30 p.m. Thursday, according to police scanner traffic.
East Bigelow Gulch Road will be closed until further notice because of the investigation, Gregory said.
