PULLMAN – Kickoff times and television slots for four Washington State football games were revealed Thursday when the Pac-12 Conference released its TV selections for the first three weeks of the 2019 regular season.

The Cougars learned times and TV networks for each of their first three games and for the regular-season finale against in-state rival Washington.

WSU’s Aug. 31 season opener against New Mexico State will kick off at 7 p.m. at Martin Stadium and be televised by the Pac-12 Networks. The Cougars’ second game, against Northern Colorado of the Big Sky, also takes place in Pullman. It will start at 2 p.m. on Sept. 7 and air on the Pac-12 Networks.

The Cougars will have a national audience for their third game, a neutral-site contest against the University of Houston on Sept. 13. Part of the AdvoCare Texas Kickoff at NRG Stadium, home of the NFL’s Houston Texans, the nonconference game will kick at 6:15 p.m. and be shown on ESPN. It’ll be the first meeting between the schools since WSU beat Houston 24-22 in the 1988 Aloha Bowl.

The Pac-12 will use six- or 12-day options to determine kickoff times and television selections for the next eight games, although WSU fans can get a head start on travel plans for the annual Apple Cup game, which will take place at 1 p.m. on Nov. 29 at Husky Stadium in Seattle. The game will be aired either on Fox or FS1.

WSU season tickets are on sale to the general public and available online at WSUCougars.com or by phone at (800)-GO-COUGS. Tickets for WSU road games are on sale, and miniplans for home games will go on sale June 10. Single-game tickets will go on sale July 15 for Cougar Athletic Fund (CAF) members and July 29 for the general public.
