Afternoon kickoff announced for week five matchup between Washington State, Utah

PULLMAN – The Cougars will follow Friday’s late-night kickoff at USC with a mid-afternoon game against Utah the following week in Pullman.

Monday morning, the Pac-12 Conference announced time slots for the games on Sept. 29, giving Washington State and Utah the first one of the afternoon – a 3 p.m. kickoff at Martin Stadium. The game will be televised by the Pac-12 Networks.

A kickoff time for just one other game has been scheduled this season: the 2018 Apple Cup, on Friday Nov. 23, at 5:30 p.m. WSU tripped up the Utes in Salt Lake City in the second to last game of 2017, winning 33-25 at Rice-Eccles Stadium.

The other games scheduled for the 29th include Stanford versus Notre Dame (4:30 p.m., NBC), BYU versus Washington (5:30 p.m., FOX), Oregon State versus Arizona State (7 p.m., Pac-12 Networks), Oregon versus Cal (7:30 p.m., FS1), USC vs. Arizona (7:30 p.m., ESPN2).
