Prep tennis playoffs: Gonzaga Prep’s Tyler Timperman and Callah Preti win district titles

District 8 4A Tournament finals: Tyler Timperman of Gonzaga Prep topped teammate Marcello Scudiero 6-2, 6-0 to take the singles title at Central Valley HS. In doubles, Mead’s Eric and Edward Liu topped Dean and Evan West of Central Valley 6-2, 6-1 to take the title.

District 8 4A tournament finals: Callah Preti of Gonzaga Prep beat Madelyn Dibble of Central Valley 6-3, 6-2 to take the singles title at Central Valley HS. In doubles, Sophie Orndorff and Maygan Osborn of University defeated Emma and Sophie Koehler of Mead 7-5, 6-4 for the title.
