Man, 75, dies after experiencing medical problem, crashes SUV near Medical Lake

A 75-year-old man died Thursday after he experienced a medical problem and his SUV veered off a highway near Medical Lake, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Ora J. Seifert, of Airway Heights, was driving a 1998 Ford Explorer westbound on state Highway 902, about three miles south of Medical Lake. When he lost control of the vehicle shortly before 5 p.m., it left the roadway and crashed through a fence before coming to rest in a field, according to the WSP.

Virginia M. Seifert, 78, also of Airway Heights, was a passenger in the vehicle and was not injured in the crash, according to the WSP.
