Gonzaga’s Josh Perkins earns WCC All-Academic honors for second straight season

Gonzaga junior point guard Josh Perkins has been named to the WCC All-Academic team for the second consecutive season.
Perkins, a Sport Management major, carries a 3.26 accumulative grade-point average.
The Park Hill, Colorado, native is averaging a career-high 13 points per game and recently reached 1,000 career points. He’s seventh in school history with 431 assists and shares ninth place with Dan Dickau with 188 career 3-pointers. He’s closing in on the top 10 in steals with 117.
Perkins is averaging 5.1 assists and his 3.7 assist-to-turnover ratio leads the WCC.
Perkins was joined on the All-Academic team by San Francisco’s Chase Foster, Jordan Ratinho and Nate Renfro; Loyola Marymount’s Steven Haney and Mattias Markusson; Santa Clara’s Kai Healy and Emmanuel Ndumanya; BYU’s TJ Haws and San Diego’s Cameron Neubauer.
