Girls basketball: Genesis Wilkinson’s 24 points helps East Valley beat Colton
Genesis Wilkinson scored 24 points and East Valley (11-1) beat Colton (8-2) 65-53 at the Eagle Holiday Classic at West Valley HS on Saturday.
Dakota Patchen led Colton with 24 points and six 3-pointers.
Cheney 65, Sandpoint 36: Maggie Smith scored 15 points and the Blackhawks (4-4) beat the Bulldogs (2-9). Dawson Driggs led Sandpoint with 12 points.
Pullman 55, Newport 37: Rian Clear scored 19 points and the Greyhounds (4-7) beat the Grizzlies (1-7). Alika Robinson led Newport with 17 points.
Bonners Ferry 51 Colville 46: Jerzie Pluid scored 18 points and the Badgers (10-3) beat the Indians (5-6). McKenna Reggear led Colville with 21 points.
Prosser 47, Colfax 36: Marissa Cortes scored 23 points and the Mustangs (9-2) beat the Bulldogs (4-7). Kierstyn York led Colfax with 13 points.

Lapwai 58, Moscow 27: Raquel Domebo scored 18 points and the Wildcats (7-3) defeated the Bears (6-8). Maya Kowatch led Moscow with six points.

Oakesdale 53, Inchelium 42: Logan Reed scored 21 points with 12 rebounds and the Nighthawks (9-1) beat the visiting Hornets (6-3) in the championship game. Meika Heath led Inchelium with 14 points.
