Comcast Business plans $200,000 fiber network expansion in Airway Heights

The Spokesman-Review

Comcast Business will spend nearly $200,000 to expand its fiber network to Northern Quest Resort & Casino and the surrounding Airway Heights area.

The initial expansion will serve the casino complex, with additional facilities added through 2019, Comcast officials said. Northern Quest’s expansion plans call for an RV resort, movie and dinner theater, and a 216-unit apartment complex. Additional projects are expected to be added later.

Having a high-performance network will strengthen Airway Height’s opportunities for economic development, Albert Tripp, the city’s manager, said in a news release.

Comcast Business is a subsidiary of Comcast Corp., offering Ethernet, internet, Wi-Fi and other services.
