Good news for people who love tacos: De Leon Foods is opening a taco bar in North Spokane

De Leon Foods plans to open a taco bar in North Spokane.

The new restaurant, De Leon’s BarTaco, will be located at 10208 N. Division St. in Whitworth Square near Whitworth University. A grand opening is planned for June.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are on the menu, which will also include some of De Leon’s most popular tacos, burritos and guisados, or stew meats. On weekends, the family-friendly eatery will serve menudo and pozole.

De Leon Foods owns two local grocery stores specializing in Mexican fare, ingredients and products. It’s especially known for its tamales, Mexican pastries and, during football season, tortilla chips in Seahawks colors.

De Leons is located at 102 E. Francis Ave. in Spokane and 15530 E. Sprague Ave. in Spokane Valley.
