Coeur d’Alene quarterback Colson Yankoff to have knee surgery

University of Washington-bound Coeur d’Alene quarterback Colson Yankoff has suffered a meniscus injury.
Yankoff, who will be a senior in the fall, injured his knee while long jumping at a track meet May 4, CdA football coach Shawn Amos said.
The 6-foot-4, 200-pound Yankoff was in Seattle on Tuesday having a UW surgeon examine his knee. Amos said surgery is scheduled for Thursday. Amos said recovery could be anywhere from four weeks to four months.
