Body found floating in Moyie River northeast of Bonners Ferry in Boundary County.

A body was found floating face down in the Moyie River near the Meadow Creek Campground northeast of Bonners Ferry in Boundary County Monday evening.

Witnesses reported to law enforcement they observed a 60-year-old male fall into the river from his raft by Meadow Creek, and due to the speed of the river, were unable to reach him, according to Boundary County Emergency Management press release.

The man, who has not yet been identified, was wearing a wetsuit and a life jacket.
