Trio accused of assault, pointing rifle at pedestrians near WSU Greek Row

Pullman police arrested three men early Friday in response to reports that they assaulted four men and pointed a rifle at pedestrians in the Greek Row area.

Police discovered the fight in the 500 block of Colorado Street as it was breaking up. Witnesses reported that the men got out of their car shortly after 2 a.m. and began beating up four male pedestrians, according to a police news release. Other witnesses reported that the men had pointed a rifle, believed to be an AR-15, at other people shortly before the fight broke out.

Bryan Williams, 20, and Marquise Leonard, 21, were arrested and booked into the Whitman County Jail on felony assault and harassment charges. Everett Davis, 20, was arrested on suspicion of fourth-degree assault and released.

A search warrant for the trio’s car is pending. The rifle is believed to be inside the car, the news release said.

The four victims, three Moscow residents and one Pullman resident, received minor injuries.
