Former Eastern Washington star Samson Ebukam signs $3 million contract with Rams
Former Eastern Washington football player Samson Ebukam has signed a rookie contract with the Los Angeles Rams, the team announced on Tuesday.
The four-year deal is potentially worth $3,006,000 if Ebukam plays all four years, with an annual contract value of $751,000.
Ebukam is guaranteed $495,000 if he makes the Rams’ opening-day roster.
Ebukam, an FBS All-American defensive end at Eastern, was a fourth-round pick as an outside linebacker in the NFL draft on April 28. His former Eastern teammate, Cooper Kupp, was picked by the Rams in the third round.
The 6-foot-3, 240-pound Ebukam was a three-year starter at Eastern, with 188 tackles, 44 tackles for loss and 24 sacks.
As a senior, he tallied 15 tackles for losses and 9.5 sacks, plus three fumble recoveries, two forced fumbles, eight quarterback hits, and an interception.
