Brackets were released on Tuesday for The Basketball Tournament and Few Good Men could be in store for an interesting opening weekend.

Few Good Men is seeded second in the West Region and will open against No. 15 Mostly Sports Delco on Saturday, July 15, at Desert Oasis High School in Las Vegas.

The other half of the bracket pits seventh-seeded Team Utah, which eliminated Few Good Men in the Sweet 16 last season, against No. 10 Team Fredette, led by former BYU star Jimmer Fredette and ex-Cougar Brandon Davies.

Few Good Men, coached by Dan Dickau, features former Zags Jeremy Pargo, Steven Gray, Mike Hart and Blake Stepp. The rest of the roster includes Pargo’s brother, Jannero; Leo Lyons, who played at Missouri; Kamari Murphy, a former Miami Hurricane; Kevin Palmer, a product of Texas A&M-Corpus Christi; and former San Diego State standout Malcolm Thomas.

Mostly Sports Delco, named after a sports podcast, has one former Division I player in Brian Jesiolowski. The ex-St. Joseph’s forward has appeared in movies Failure to Launch, Inequity and Deadly Gamble. Guard Michael Scovotti has acting credits in General Hospital, Days of Our Lives and several movies.

The 64-team, $2 million winner-take-all event concludes Aug. 1-2 in Baltimore. Two-time defending champion Overseas Elite is the top seed in the South. Team Colorado, which lost to Overseas Elite in the 2016 title game, is the West’s No. 1 seed.
