Gonzaga trio earns NABC academic honors

Gonzaga’s Josh Perkins and former Zags’ Nigel Williams-Goss and Dustin Triano have been named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches’ (NABC) Honors Court.
The Honors Court recognizes student-athletes in their junior or senior academic year with at least a 3.2 grade-point average.
Perkins, a rising junior point guard, earned a 3.2 GPA last year. The sport management major averaged 8.1 points and 3.1 assists.
Williams-Goss, the WCC Player of the Year who was drafted by Utah in the second round, had a 3.84 GPA and completed his psychology degree. He was a first-team Academic All-American.
Triano, who has transferred to Division II Western Oregon, carried a 3.25 GPA in business administration. He played in 54 games in three seasons with Gonzaga.
