The Gonzaga Bulldogs visit the Santa Clara Broncos on Thursday at the Leavey Center in Santa Clara, California.

Santa Clara is led by senior guard Jared Brownridge, one of the most productive players in WCC history. The 6-foot-3, 200-pounder averages 17.9 points. He’s hit 64 3-pointers and gets to the foul line twice as often as any of his teammates.

Brownridge’s 2,056 career points rank second in school history and eighth in the conference. He recently moved past ex-Zag Jim McPhee (2,015 points from 1986-90).

Brownridge, KJ Feagin and Matt Hauser form one of the WCC’s better backcourts. Gonzaga counters with Nigel Williams-Goss, Jordan Mathews and Josh Perkins. The latter has been practicing this week after being limited to 16 minutes by a sore back in Saturday’s win over Saint Mary’s. Silas Melson will probably see extended defensive time on Brownridge, too.
