QB Reilly Hennessey transfers from Eastern Washington to CWU

Eastern Washington quarterback Reilly Hennessey has transferred to Division II Central Washington, the school announced Wednesday.

Hennessey, who still has two years of eligibility, appeared in six games last year for the Eagles, completing 23 of 31 passes for 244 yards and three touchdowns.

He also led EWU to a come-from-behind win over Northern Iowa on Sept. 17.

The Eagles have two returning quarterbacks in Gage Gubrud and Eric Barriere and signed two more to letters of intent on Wednesday.
