EWU’s Ahuna named Big Sky volleyball offensive player of week

Eastern Washington University volleyball player Ka’iulani Ahuna has been named the Big Sky Conference offensive player of the week after helping the Eagles to a pair of Big Sky wins.

It is the first such honor for Ahuna, as the Keaukaha, Hawai’i native collected a total of 33 kills and hit .247 to guide Eastern to a pair of victories over the outright defending Big Sky Champ Northern Arizona and Southern Utah. The sophomore also added a team-best 30 digs en route to a pair of double-doubles.
