Ka’iulani Ahuna totaled 18 kills and 19 digs, Ashley Seiler added 18 kills and Sophie Miller tallied 35 assists and 19 digs to help the Eastern Washington Eagles (8-6, 3-2) hand the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks (14-4, 4-1) their first Big Sky Conference volleyball loss of the season 25-23. 21-25, 25-22, 25-21 on Thursday in Cheney.
The Eagles managed just a .177 attack percentage for the match, but held NAU to a paltry .125.
Taylor Larsen chipped in with 11 kills and three blocks for Eastern.
Becca Mau finished with 24 kills and five blocks and Sarah Sharp added 22 kills to power the Idaho Vandals (7-10, 2-3) to a hard-fought 25-21, 25-20, 22-25, 19-25, 19-17 win over the visiting Southern Utah Thunderbirds (2-15, 0-5) in Big Sky action.
Megan Ramseyer posted 41 assists and two service aces for Idaho.
Emmy Allen notched 16 kills and 11 digs, Faith Smith and Jenna Kuehn combined for 43 assists and the Gonzaga Bulldogs (10-5, 3-2) rolled to a 25-22, 25-19, 19-25, 25-18 win over the Pepperdine Waves (7-10, 1-4) in West Coast Conference play in Malibu, California.
