Repaving on Bigelow Gulch will hold up traffic

Repaving on Bigelow Gulch Road starting Wednesday will cause traffic delays from Havana Street to Argonne Road through Monday.

A pilot car will guide alternating single lines of vehicles through the construction area.

Delays of up to 20 minutes are possible, Spokane County officials said. Drivers should consider alternate routes.

The county cautions that rainy weather could postponethe work until later this week.
