Suspect arrested in fatal Moses Lake shooting

Margarito Leyva, 26, of Moses Lake is wanted for homicide in Friday's shooting of a Spokane man who died the next day. The Grant County Sheriff’s said Leyva is armed and dangerous.
The Grant County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a suspect in Friday’s fatal shooting of a Spokane man in Moses Lake. Margarito Leyva, 26, of Moses Lake, was taken into custody without incident about 9 p.m. today at the Knight’s Inn in Pasco, Washington, the Sheriff’s Office said. Leyva was wanted for homicide in Friday’s shooting of Juan Michael “Johnny” Gonzalez, Jr., who died early Saturday at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane. Gonzalez was shot in the chest at the College Apartments on Grape Drive in Moses Lake.
