Seminar examines online safety
The public is invited to a free Cyber Safety Campaign seminar June 10 at CenterPlace in Spokane Valley, which will include Attorney General Bob Ferguson sharing the latest online scams.
The event, which will teach people how to stay safer online, is sponsored by AARP, the state Attorney General’s Office, Microsoft and the Federal Trade Commission.
The presentation will include the Top 10 consumer tips for online users, how to safely connect to public and free wifi networks and how to safely use “the cloud.”
