A bicyclist was hit by an eastbound STA bus Friday morning in the 5600 block of West Sunset Highway. The bus driver said the man was pedaling on the south side of the street and veered into 50 mph traffic. There are two lanes in each direction. The driver said he swerved to the inside lane to avoid the bicyclist. The two apparently collided near the center line. The bike was wedged underneath the front bumper.
