Education

The Washington State University Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine has hired Yvette Roubideaux as the associate dean for diversity, inclusion and leadership; James Zimmerman as vice dean of administration, accreditation and finance; and Mary Ann Clemens as special adviser to the dean for curriculum development. Roubideaux previously served as senior adviser to the Secretary for American Indians and Alaska Natives in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and as director of the Indian Health Service. Zimmerman was previously the senior associate dean for administration, accreditation and finance and the vice president of the Rosalind Franklin University Health System at Chicago Medical School. Clemons previously served as a clinical associate professor at Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. She also has experience in advising and developing new curriculum.

Engineers

Inland Business Catalyst magazine has named Coffman Engineers as a recipient of the Gold B2B award for Best Engineering Firm. Recipients of the magazine’s yearly awards are determined by the results of reader surveys.

Finance

Kyle Weir has been named to RBC Wealth Management’s Director’s Council. Membership in the council recognizes outstanding performance, professional growth and demonstrated leadership in client service. Weir is a financial adviser, first vice president and senior portfolio manager in the Spokane office.

Spokane Teachers Credit Union has named Nikki Butler and Jon Holland as regional managers. Butler previously managed the STCU Northtown Square branch and will now manage the Indian Trail, North, and Northtown Square locations. She has been with the credit union for 10 years. Holland will manage the Hutton, Downtown and U-District locations. He was previously the northwest Washington area vice president for Alaska USA Federal Credit Union.

Dingus, Zarecor & Associates PLLC has hired Joseph Behler and Skyler Twidt as staff accountants. Behler holds a bachelor’s degree in public accounting with a minor in management information system from Eastern Washington University. Twidt holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and economics from the University of Idaho.

Rocky Cummings has joined the Spokane office of BDO USA, LLP. He serves as the head of BDO’s West Region tax services practice. Cummings was previously based in the company’s Bay Area offices of San Francisco and San Jose. He has more than 20 years of multistate tax and consulting experience.

Health care

SeniorAdvisor.com has named Harvard Park, a Holiday Retirement community, as a recipient of the Best of Senior Living award in recognition of providing outstanding senior living and home care services.

Law

Laura McAloon, Brian Werst and Thad O’Sullivan have joined Workland & Witherspoon, PLLC as partners. The three attorneys were previously with K&L Gates LLP. McAloon has a municipal finance practice and serves as primary legal counsel to cities, transit agencies, sewer districts and other governments. Werst practices municipal law, public finance, health care law, corporate and transactional law, labor and employment law, real property law, and litigation and arbitration. O’Sullivan has a litigation and appellate practice and advises clients in municipal law, real property law, labor and employment law, business and commercial law, and creditor law. In addition, the firm has promoted Peter Moye from of counsel to partner. Moye joined the firm in 2014 and practices corporate, transaction and commercial law, financing, estate planning and probate, litigation and appellate, and real property law.

Amy Rimov, a family law attorney, has been recognized as a 2015 10 Best Family Law Attorneys for Client Satisfaction by the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys. Attorneys are selected based on their reputation among clients.

Visit Spokane has named Robert Enriquez as vice president of sales and marketing. Enriquez has 25 years of experience in the field and was previously with the Albuquerque Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Gary Kuster has joined Dowers Commercial Real Estate Group Inc. as a broker. He specializes in commercial sales, leasing and investment properties. Kuster has more than 30 years of experience in finance, real estate, accounting and banking.
