Jamie Pendleton, the owner of the controversial Spokane Downtown Daiquiri Factory, is wanted by the Post Falls Police Department on charges of credit card fraud. A warrant has been issued for his arrest and bond has been set at $25,000. Pendleton opened the downtown bar in early 2014 and it was immediately controversial because of a drink called “Date Grape Kool-Aid.” He was sued by Gonzaga University for using their mascot without their permission, a case that Gonzaga won. The business was evicted in June 2014 for non-payment of rent. Pendleton made a post on the bar’s Facebook page on August 6 that said “The wait will soon be over. SDDF returns soon.” Anyone with information on Pendleton’s location is asked to call Detective Uhrig at (208) 777-7140.
