$1,000 reward for info on Spokane man accused of child rape

Crime Stoppers of the Inland Northwest is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of a Spokane man wanted for charges of child rape and child pornography. Douglas Scyphers, 46, was last seen driving a family member’s white 1993 Jeep Cherokee with Washington license plates AOB6460, according to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office. He’s described as white, 5-feet-10-inches tall, about 160 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes. Scyphers failed to appear in court on charges of first-, second- and third-degree child rape, possession of child pornography and sexual exploitation of a minor. He may now face a new charge for jumping bail. Detectives are concerned there may be additional victims, the sheriff’s office said. Anyone with information about Scyphers’ whereabouts is asked to tip off Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or CrimeStoppersInlandNorthwest.org. Tipsters do not have to give their name to collect a cash reward.
