Root Sports will televise three Eastern Washington football games
Three Eastern Washington football games will be televised this fall by Root Sports, the network and the Big Sky Conference announced Thursday.
Games against Montana State (Sept. 19), Weber State (Oct. 31) and at Montana (Nov. 14) are among 10 conference games to be televised on Root Sports.
The network will broadcast 10 Big Sky games, all in high definition, with some broadcasts available in the Northwest and Rocky Mountain regions.
This is the fourth year of the partnership between the Big Sky and DirecTV Sports, which is the parent company of Root Sports.
“We are extremely pleased to continue our strong partnership with the Big Sky Conference, and we look forward to another entertaining and exciting 2015 season,” said Mark Jorgensen, SVP/general manager of Root Sports.
“Big Sky football has enriched our collegiate programming and given our viewers the games they desire,” Jorgensen said.
Montana and Montana State will appear on five telecasts each, including their rivalry meeting on Nov. 21 in Bozeman.
Game times will be announced at a later date.
