Teenager hit by car Sunday identified

Investigators have identified the teenager struck by a car in Spokane County on Sunday, but are not releasing his name. The 17-year-old was hit by a car on South Regal Street near East 61st Court in the Moran Prairie area just before 1:30 a.m. Sunday. He was taken to a local hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries. Spokane County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Deputy Mark Gregory said Monday the investigation into the collision is ongoing and no charges have been filed against the driver.
