Colfax woman killed in wreck near Pullman
A Colfax woman died Saturday night in a three-vehicle collision on U.S. Highway 195 north of Pullman, the Washington State Patrol said.
Dina Williamson, 28, died when her 2003 Ford Focus, which was northbound, crossed the centerline about 8:45 p.m. and struck an oncoming 2003 Chevrolet Suburban, investigators said.
The other driver, Lana Fonnesbeck, 45, of Lewiston, was injured and taken to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane. Two of her passengers, Logan Fonnesbeck, 14, and Kali Fonnesbeck, 13, were treated at Pullman Memorial Hospital.
A 2003 International van driven by a 17-year-old male and containing seven teenaged passengers, all from Colfax, struck the Suburban. None of them was injured.
The WSP said drugs and alcohol were not involved. The investigation continues.
The crash, about 4 miles northwest of Pullman, closed the highway between Pullman and Colfax for several hours.
