Pedestrian seriously injured after being struck by car
A vehicle struck a man in a crosswalk Wednesday morning on Browne Street, sending the pedestrian to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police said a white SUV was traveling west on Second and struck the man onto Browne around 11 a.m.
The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with police.
The Northern Kentucky basketball team’s bus was in the area when the collision occurred. Two of the team’s staff members, including the team trainer, exited the bus and provided first aid for the pedestrian.
