Four corners: Eastern Washington Eagles

COMING UP: Tonight vs. Sacramento State, 6; Saturday vs. Northern Arizona, 2 p.m.

OUTLOOK: Despite a road breakthrough at Montana State last week, the Eagles (11-13 overall, 5-7 Big Sky) must defend home court against two teams ahead of them. And defending home court could come down to defending the 3-point shot. First up is Sac State (10-11, 6-6), one of the Sky’s better long-range shooting teams (37.6 percent) and the best at defending against it (conference opponents are shooting 33.7 percent). On Saturday, it’s NAU (10-12, 7-5) easily the league’s best 3-point shooting team (42.9 percent). The Eagles foes are shooting 34 percent from the arc.
