Network to show 4 Shock games

Four Spokane Shock games, including two matchups with rival Arizona, will be televised among CBS Sports Network’s 20 regular-season broadcasts of the Arena Football League.

The network will air Spokane’s games at Arizona on March 23, at Tampa Bay on April 26, at San Jose on June 14 and home vs. Arizona on July 12.

ESPN is expected to televise 10 AFL games.

Eastern Washington’s Jordan Arakawa was selected as the Big Sky Conference men’s field athlete of the week after an impressive showing at the Ed Jacoby Invitational Friday.

Arakawa reached a personal best of 66 feet, 1 inch in the weight throw. The mark is second-best in EWU history.
