Gonzaga will host Eastern

The Gonzaga women’s basketball team will get a test tonight from an Eastern Washington team seeking its first victory of the year.

The Eagles and Gonzaga tip off at 6 p.m. at the McCarthey Athletic Center.

The Eagles are coming off a 3-point loss at Portland and a 75-70 home loss Saturday to Southern Methodist University.

The No. 24 Zags come in at 2-1 with victories over Idaho and the University of Tennessee at Martin.

Gonzaga’s last game was a nail-bitting 82-78 loss last Thursday to then No. 11 Oklahoma as part of the Women’s Preseason NIT.
