Morton-White Pass 35, DeSales 31
Ashley Kelly hit a running shot in the key to break a 31-31 tie with a minute remaining and preserve a first-round victory for the Timberwolves.
Timberwolves guard Lina Hieronymi was fouled and made two free throws with 21.9 seconds left to put Morton-White Pass up by four and the Irish were unable to covert on their next trip down the floor.
Kelly and fellow guard Whitney Elledge led the Timberwolves with 12 points each. Hieronymi had 11 points and led all players with eight rebounds. Teresa Acock and Molli Lesko each had eight points for the Irish.
The Timberwolves shot 15 of 17 from the free-throw line as a team, while the Irish shot just 2 of 7.

Reardan 60, White Swan 22
The two-time defending champion Reardan Indians wasted little time disposing of the White Swan Cougars, jumping out to a 25-2 first-quarter lead.
Reardan’s Kelsey Moos led all players with 20 points and 10 rebounds in under 19 minutes of play, shooting 6 of 12 from the floor, including 2 of 3 from 3-point range. She added three assists, three steals and a blocked shot. The Indians made seven of their 13 3-point shots.
White Swan made just nine of their 50 field-goal attempts and couldn’t find an open look versus the Indians’ swarming defense. Emily Botkin led the Cougars with six points and seven rebounds.

NW Christian 60, Napavine 35
Northwest Christian used a balanced scoring attack en route to a 21-7 fourth quarter to pull away from Napavine.
Courtney Gray, Chanel Knight, Hannah Dietzen and Maria Guske all scored in double figures for the Crusaders, with Gray putting in a game-high 14 points.
Northwest Christian forced 22 turnovers, leading to 23 points. The Crusaders also dominated down low, outscoring Napavine 42-18 in the paint.
Kalli Brown led Napavine with 11 points while Josie Dekoker collected six rebounds and added eight points.

Mattie Miller’s layup off the glass with 28 seconds left left put the Pe Ell up by three and Sami Robertson’s offensive rebound and free throw with 3.3 seconds remaining sealed the victory for the Trojans over the Onalaska Loggers.
Robertson scored a game-high 19 points, pulled down seven rebounds and recorded four steals.
Onalaska’s Autumn Druand was the lone Logger to make it into double figures, scoring 12 points and also leading the team with five rebounds.
