Body found in Curlew Lake

Ferry County rescue workers found what they believe is the body of a missing person in Curlew Lake on Tuesday. Volunteers and Ferry County search and rescue workers have been looking for a person reported missing on Saturday. The Ferry County Sheriff’s Office did not identify the missing person. Friday afternoon they had not yet retrieved the body or confirmed its identity, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office. A Colville dive team was called to assist in retrieving the body.
