OUTLOOK: Two of the five D-I programs that have won at least 25 games each of the last five seasons collide at the Kennel. BYU has an RPI of 42, second-best in the WCC behind Gonzaga (9). Saint Mary’s is No. 62. BYU sophomore guard Tyler Haws leads the conference in scoring (21.6) and free-throw percentage (91.9). His 42-point effort against Virginia Tech is the highest-scoring game by a D-I player this season. Senior forward Brandon Davies (18 ppg) is tied for fourth in scoring with Gonzaga’s Kelly Olynyk. San Francisco (8-11, 1-5) has won only three of its last 13 and is tied with LMU for last in the conference.
