Eagles defeat PSU
The two-pronged attack of redshirt freshman Hayley Hodgins and senior Carrie Ojeda sparked the Eastern Washington women to their third straight Big Sky Conference victory, 68-56 at Portland State on Monday night.
Hodgins scored a career-high 22 points, ignited by a 4-for-8 performance beyond the arc, and Ojeda put together her third double-double of the season with 14 points and 11 rebounds as the Eagles (10-8, 6-3 Big Sky) took over sole possession of third place.
Eastern scored 27 points off 22 Vikings (9-9, 3-6) turnovers.

Montana State 76, Southern Utah 68: Christian Moon scored a career-high 24 points and the Bobcats defated the Thunderbirds at Bozeman, Mont.
Xavier Blount scored 13 and Paul Egwuonwu scored 10 for the Bobcats (7-9, 4-4 Big Sky), who had lost their previous two games after a four-game winning streak.
Damon Heuir scored 20 points to lead the Thunderbirds (5-12, 3-5), who have lost five in a row.
