Light earthquake hits parts of Western Washington Sunday morning
Quake measured 3.3
A small earthquake hit parts of Western Washington early Sunday, affecting residents in Olympia, Elma, Hoquiam, Chehalis and Raymond.
According to the United States Geological Survey earthquake monitoring office, the quake measured 3.3 on the Richter scale.
It occurred at 11:48 a.m. about 22 miles southeast of Aberdeen and 23.8 miles west of Centralia, according to the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network. It was as deep as 26 miles.
