Liberty Lake collision slows traffic

The Spokesman-Review
A three-vehicle accident near Liberty Lake this morning was blocking westbound traffic on Appleway, and was one of several accident across the region this morning. No injuries were reported in the accident after 7 a.m. at Appleway and Country Vista Drive on the west side of Liberty Lake. Towing rigs were on the scene, attempting to clear wreckage shortly before 8 a.m., officers said. Freezing fog was apparently causing problems for drivers. Three other accidents were reported, including a non-injury, slide-off collision at Flint and Trails roads about 7:30 a.m. that may have been caused by freezing fog on the roadway. Also, a two-vehicle accident was being investigated at Pines Road and Trent Avenue after 7 a.m. No injuries were reported. A one-vehicle accident occurred just before 8 a.m. in Valleyford at Palouse Highway and Madison Road.
