Comics get makeover
Our Sunday comics have a new look starting today.
The section is going from six pages to four, but don’t worry – all your favorite strips are still there. They’re pretty much in the same order as before, though we did move some of the more popular comics up front, based on our recent reader survey.
The Los Angeles Times crossword, diagramless crossword and cryptogram have moved into the classified advertising section. Look for them on pages G4 and G5.
Western Colorprint, which produces the Sunday comics, is switching to four-page sections for most of its client newspapers, said Shaun Higgins, The Spokesman-Review’s director of sales and marketing.
