WSU soccer players Dallstream, Scurich earn regional honors

Two Washington State women’s soccer players were named to the All-West Region third team by Soccer Buzz.

Sophomore Kiersten Dallstream and senior Allison Scurich were named to the team for their achievements during the 2007 season.

Dallstream led the Cougars with 10 goals and 24 points. She was also named a first-team All-Pacific-10 Conference selection.

Scurich had four goals, including a match-winner, and added two assists. She was named an All-Pac-10 honorable mention.

Baseball

The Inland Empire Baseball Umpires Association will hold its initial meeting for the upcoming season in the basement level of the Gonzaga Prep High School Student Center on Feb. 4.

New, transfer and second-year umpires will meet at 6 p.m. and veteran umpires will meet at 6:30.
