McGahey lifts U-Hi at 4-way meet

NINE MILE FALLS, Wash. – Riding Kayla McGahey’s highest all-around score of the season, University, with 165.95 points, easily took first in a Greater Spokane League gymnastics meet at Lakeside High.

McGahey finished with a 35.6 all-around mark, taking first in uneven bars and vault, second in floor exercise and third in balance beam.

Amanda Gallagher of Mt. Spokane was second in the all-around (33.0). Brittany Mueller of U-Hi placed third at 32.225, Kassy Sainsbury of Lewis and Clark was fourth with 31.275, and Lindsay Jaelke of the host Eagles took fifth with 31.15.

Lakeside took second in team scoring at 153.5. LC was third (151.725) and Mt. Spokane was fourth (137.7).
