Two Arrested After Attackers Break Into Home, Beat Man

From Staff And Wire Reports

Spokane police arrested two men late Friday who forced their way into a home on East Sanson and attacked a man with baseball bats.

Police arrested Timothy E. Allison, 34, and Rowdy B. Schubert, 25, both of 6018 N. Ruby, on suspicion of first-degree burglary.

Just before 11 p.m. Friday, police were called to a fight at 1428 East Sanson. They arrived and found the victim who had suffered minor injuries when he was hit several times with a bat.

A 31-year-old woman at the house said her estranged husband and another man kicked open the door and began assaulting them.

They said the two men smashed furniture and appliances, then fled after the victim ran from the house to call 911.

Police found the suspects nearby and recovered two bats as evidence.
