Secret Tape Of Locker Room Seized In Wilbur

Male high school students used a hidden camera to videotape female basketball players as they changed clothes in the girls’ locker room, authorities say.

The tape was made nearly a year ago at Wilbur School, said Les Portner, superintendent of the Wilbur School District.

“It appears we did have a student or students that did acquire a videotape of some of our locker room during a basketball game or games,” Portner said.

The tape has been seized by police, who have asked the Washington State Patrol to investigate, he said. Charges may be filed, he added.

Investigators have ruled out the possibility that adults may have been involved, he said.
